An unfortunate off day for the men in Pinstripes?
After sweeping both the Oakland Athletics and Minnesota Twins in back-to-back series following the All-Star break, the Yankees are headed to Fenway Park. The Yankees are 4-5 against the rival Red Sox this season. With coming off of six straight wins, and two series sweeps, is this a bad off day for the Yankees? Probably not.
Coming off a game when the Yankees have either had an off day, a rained out game, or an extended break (All-Star break), the Yankees are 5-3. Not great, but it's a winning record. Are the Yankees set to take over second place in the American League East this weekend? It will take a sweep from the Yankees. Do they have it in their bones? Only time will tell.
